Storing Important Documents in your RV
While moving our belongings into our RV this past week, I was trying to decide the best way to store some important documents that we will need to have with us while on the road.
I wanted to purchase a fireproof safe, like this one, but we simply do not have anywhere to put it in our rig. Not to mention they are heavy and expensive.
So when I stumbled upon this Fireproof Document & Money Bag, I figured it was worth a try. It did not disappoint!
First off, I wanted to be sure that in the event of a fire, we wouldn’t lose our important documents. This Fireproof Document & Money Bag is tested to withstand a 2000 degree fire.
It is also water resistant. I would imagine that the only reason it is not waterproof is because it has zipper at the top. They claim that it is able to survive the intense spray of a firefighter’s hose on full blast. So as long as it is not fully submerged in water, it should keep your belongings safe.
This bag is constructed very well. The zipper feels very strong and of high quality. The velcro along the flap is also very strong.
An adjustable shoulder strap is an added bonus, which makes carrying this Fireproof Document & Money Bag very easy and comfortable.
What will fit?
I have already put a full size road atlas, two 2 large books, several file folders with documents in them, all of our RV manuals, and an envelope of cash in mine. There is still enough room for my laptop!
You could also store jewelry, photos, passports, cell phones, or anything of value in it.
A lifetime warranty is included with this Fireproof Document & Money Bag, along with guaranteed customer service for as long as you own it.
I would give this bag a 5 star rating. It is very high quality, reasonably priced, and is large enough to fit a lot of important things in it. If you are looking for a product to aid in storing important documents in your RV, I would look no further.
